DAY 01:  Chennai – Aizawl (Mizoram)

Arrival at Aizawl airport, meet & greet & transfer to Hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own activities. Overnight at Aizawl.

DAY 02:  Aizawl

The morning after breakfast full day city tour visiting Mizoram State Museum, Durtlang Hills, Berawtlang Tourist Complex, Luangmual Handicrafts Centre, Bara Bazar, etc., Overnight at Aizawl.

DAY 03: Aizawl – Agartala (Tripura)

After breakfast proceed to Aizawl airport to fly to Agartala. On arrival at Agartala, transfer to hotel. Overnight at Agartala.

DAY 04: Agartala

After breakfast, enjoy a city tour covering Sipahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, Ujjayanta Palace,  Tripura  Sundari Temple, and Neermahal. Rest free at leisure. Overnight at Agartala.

DAY 05: Agartala

Today Full day Excursion to Unnakoti Shiva Temples and Enroute enjoy Lake and Woods Sightseeing

DAY 06: Agartala – Imphal (Manipur)

After breakfast, proceed to Agartala airport to fly to Imphal. On arrival at Imphal, transfer to hotel. Overnight at Imphal.

DAY 07: Imphal

The morning after breakfast, tour the city covering Kangla Fort. Later drive to Moirang (45 km / 1 hr), the ancient capital of the Manipuri Kings. It is also the center of Meithei culture. Cross by the local villages as you go to see the Sadu Chiru waterfall and the Japanese war memorial, which reflects the history of the Second World War. Visit the Keibul Lamjao National Park (the only floating park in the world). It is the last natural habitat of the marsh-dwelling brow-antlered deer locally called ‘Sangai’. Nearby is the Loktak Lake and Sendra Island (a Hillock Island with mesmerizing views of Loktak lake). Loktak Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the North East. Watch the Unique Floating Islands ‘Phumdi’ that are actually floating weeds on which people live! Return to Imphal. Overnight in Imphal.

DAY 08: Imphal – Kohima (Nagaland) 

The morning after breakfast, drive to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Visit War Cemetery. Overnight in Kohima.  The prominent tribes of Nagaland are Angami Naga, Ao, Chang, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Rengma, Sangtam, Sumi & Yimchungru, etc. Tribe and clan traditions and loyalties play an important part in the life of Nagas. The annual Hornbill Festival is celebrated at Kohima between the 1st & 10th of December.

DAY 09: Kohima

After breakfast visit Khonoma village (20 km/ 2 hrs). Later return to Kohima and visit the church and Jakhama village to experience the real Angami Naga tribal way of living as you take a village walk. Also, visit the Heritage Complex where the Hornbill festival is celebrated every year. Overnight in Kohima.

Day 10: Kohima – Dimapur – Chennai  

The morning after breakfast, transfer to Dimapur Airport for onward journey.
